Giant/Safeway Receipts - Signup Online!Earn money for NCC just by shopping at the Giant or Safeway. Every year, these grocery stores sponsor a program where they exchange "receipts" for school supplies like computers, reference books, even sports equipment. The more "receipts" the school collects, the more things they can buy. And this year, the grocery stores have made it a paper-less project. There are no more receipts to collect. Instead, every time you use your Giant Bonus Card or your Safeway Club card, you can earn money for the school. All you have to do is register your card and designate NCC as the school. And yes, you can designate more than one school, up to three or four.The Giant A+ Bonus Bucks program will run from November 5, 2000 through March 31, 2001. You can obtain the new Giant Bonus Card at any Giant store on the spot or you can apply online at www.giantfood.com. After you have a bonus card, you must designate the school. NCC's school code is 0651.The Safeway Club Card for Education Program will run from September 20, 2000 through March 31, 2001. You must have the red Safeway Club card to participate. The cards are available at the stores. You can register at the store or on-line at www.proghqtrs.com/safeway. The School Code for NCC is 0794. Even if you registered last year, you must re-designate your school for this years campaign.Also remember that we collect receipts for Chevy Chase Supermarket.
